Enjoyed all the activities here. Was a great way to entertain my niece and nephew over the holidays! Special shout out to Ellis, who answered all the kids endless questions with humour and charm and just made the experience so much more enjoyable!

A lot of fun in Central Manchester, you’ve come to the Arndale and done a little shopping, you’ve been to Dr Martens, now, head across the street for an hour or so and have a laugh at yourself and others, be beheaded, feel discombobulated in a simple tunnel on a walkway.

Brilliant place to take the kids. So many fun activities and displays. The rotating tunnel really confuses you brain. Would definitely recommend going. Ellis was really helpful through out and offered to take photos so the whole family could get involved.

Went solo and was honestly a bit sceptical at first, but it turned out to be brilliant! The staff were lovely and helpful, there was always someone willing to help with pictures, and Erin was amazing. I never felt left out and genuinely enjoyed the whole experience. Definitely recommend solo visitors, you’ll be fine!

It was absolutely amazing and the effects were great. Staff were lovely especially Ellis and Amaron were very friendly and made our experience all the more special. Defo would recommend.

isited the Museum of Illusions and had an absolute blast. It's fully interactive, meaning you aren't just looking at things—you’re actively stepping into the displays. The Manchester-themed exhibits (like hanging off the side of a Metrolink tram) are fantastic, and the Vortex Tunnel completely wrecked my sense of balance in the best way possible! It's a goldmine for fun photos, and the staff were incredibly helpful with tips on where to stand for the perfect shot. Highly recommend for a unique hour or two in the city centre!

Great experience, lots of different interactive rooms, different to other similar attractions, fun games and also interesting explanations about how each illusion works. Great for kids and big kids! What sets this museum apart however are the wonderfully helpful staff on hand to explain the illusions and take insta worthy photos! Shout out in particular to Grace!

A lovely little trip! Sophie at the register was very friendly and the exhibitions are entertaining and diverse. We spent around am hour inside, given which it's a bit on the pricier side of our museum experiences, but still worth it for some amazing memory shots!

We had an amazing time,the staff were there to guide us and help us with taking photos with i found very kind of them.

These exhibits aren’t just cool to look at, they’re highly interactive, and many offer hilarious photo opportunities that are worth the visit alone.

That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:

💷 Price vs. Length — While many visitors find it fun and memorable, some feel the ticket price is on the higher side for the amount of time you’ll spend inside (typically 1–2 hours).

I went with my friends and we had a lot of fun. The museum has a lot of cool stuff, and they also have lockers, which was great, even though it's quite hot! It's definitely worth going; it was almost the highlight of my trip.

Great as expected. There were queues for some of the more popular exhibits and kids can get irritable, perhaps more to do in the corridors whilst they are waiting may be useful. However, we went during school holidays and the queues weren't bad.
We were told off for giving kids nibbles in the queues, perhaps that can be relaxed if its doing no harm as it's an easy way to keep them distracted and regulated.
My son has ADHD and did fine but it would be overstimulating for those with sensory sensitivities.

An amazing pkace to go with the family! Went there to celebrate my partners birthday and we had a blast! Sometimes we forget adults too can have fun and this is a great place to be reminded of this. Ticket are 20+ pounds which make it in my opinion a little bit expensive.... overall worth it though! As a one time thing!

We had a great visit here however, if it's school holidays be prepared to cue pretty much all the way round because it gets very busy, the museum of cues might be a more appropriate name. That aside the place boggles the mind and your kids young and old will love it, the staff are absolutely fantastic staying so calm and patient making sure things move along smoothly. Take your kids you know you want to.

Lovely experience. Well with a visit. Takes a couple of hours to walk around. Not sure if it'll change enough for multiple visits but if you've never been before, if recommend.

It isn't the cheapest place to visit... but that's because there's lots of well maintained, all working expensive to make and operate interactive exhibits. Buy your tickets online and save £2 a ticket.
Its loads of fun, staff great, friendly and will take some photos of you whilst interacting. Definitely worth a visit. Note the postcode takes you up a side street to a book shop, come back down to the main pedestrian road, and the entrance is next to Tesco on Market Street.

Excellent experience really enjoyed it, which when I received my ticket as a gift I didn't think I would.
So glad I went along it was interesting without being too much, would recommend for families.
