Terms and Conditions - Instagram Giveaway

1. Promoter:

The promoter of this giveaway is Museum of Illusions Manchester Ltd.

2. Eligibility:

This giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of Museum of Illusions and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.

3. How to Enter:

To enter the giveaway:

• Follow @moi_manchester on Instagram.

• Take a selfie with one of our posters located throughout Manchester city centre and publish it onto your Instagram story with @moi_manchester tagged.

4. Giveaway Period:

The giveaway begins on Wednesday 11th September and ends on Sunday 22nd September 05:00 PM (BST). Entries received after this time will not be considered.

5. Prize:

The prize consists of three tickets for x2 people to attend Museum of Illusion Manchester’s exclusive opening party on Thursday 26th September from 5:30 PM (BST). The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

6. Winner Selection and Notification:

The winner(s) will be chosen at random from all valid entries received. The draw will take place within 1 day after the giveaway ends. The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 24 hours, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

7. Delivery of Prize:

There will be no delivery of the prize, instead, the names of the winners will be on the guest list for our opening party. Simply state your name(s) upon entry.

8. Publicity:

By participating, entrants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material.

9. Data Protection:

Personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. For more information, please refer to ourprivacy policy here.

10. Limitation of Liability:

Insofar as is permitted by law, Museum of Illusions Manchester will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Museum of Illusions Manchester or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Disqualification:

Museum of Illusions Manchester reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these terms and conditions, cheats, or uses any fraudulent means to participate. Automated or bulk entries or entries submitted by third parties will be disqualified.

12. Modifications and Termination:

Museum of Illusions Manchester reserves the right to cancel or amend the giveaway and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.

13. Governing Law:

This giveaway and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By participating, you hereby release and hold harmless Instagram from any and all liability associated with this giveaway.
